Our mission statement

Our mission is to deliver custom-built server solutions that combine top-tier performance with standout style, tailored precisely to each client’s unique needs. We’re dedicated to powering businesses with reliable, scalable, and eye-catching technology backed by service that feels more like a partnership than a transaction.

Our story

The Server Group started with a simple idea: businesses deserve servers that fit the brief. Not off-the-shelf and not over-engineered just smart, reliable tech built around real needs, with a look that feels right too.

From day one, we’ve done things differently combining deep technical know-how with great service (the kind you don’t have to chase). What began as a few custom builds alongside our other IT work has grown into a full-service operation, supporting businesses across industries with servers that perform. Whether it’s a custom-built powerhouse or an off-the-shelf setup, your hardware should reflect your brand, your performance needs, and your vibe. So, we add the extras most companies don’t custom branding, lighting, colours, bevelled plates, and packaging that actually looks like it belongs in your space, not stuffed in a broom cupboard. We’re bigger now, but the mindset hasn’t changed: build it right, support it properly, and always keep the human side of tech front and centre.

Our values

  • Made just for you

Every server is a custom build, crafted to fit your style, speed, and vibe.

  • People first, always

Tech is great, but our team’s the real magic friendly, knowledgeable, and here to make your life easier with expert solutions.

  • Expertly engineered

Servers that don’t just perform they bring the power, the speed, the reliability and the wow factor every time.

Company Timeline

Server Case is a specialist server chassis distributor based here in the United Kingdom, with an extensive range of 19” rackmount cases built to suit a variety of environments; including remote industrial servers and everything in between. Furthermore, our distribution partnerships have allowed us to develop and deliver Server Barebones and fully configured systems to the vast IT Channel and Enterprise customers.

2006

Server Case Was Born

Server Case was started by richard Parry as an eCommerce resellers, initially with a single supplier. Server Case was initially stared as a sole trader and as a side-line company to Richard's other business. Through marketing the website brought in business quickly.

2012

Take-Off Time

Richard sold his software and web hosting businesses and decided to focus entirely on Server Case, which was identified as a more profitable business in his company portfolio. In 2012 we took on our first dedicated facility, a 650sq/ft unit in Tamworth. We also started to import our own range of chassis, Logic Case. Richard also brought on Mark Jarvis as co-director for business development.

2013

Second Warehouse

Logic Case proved to be hugely successful. A great mix of both value and quality, introducing a product portfolio into the UK and Europe which hadn't previously been available. We started to include custom server builds into its service portfolio, proving to be very successful. We took on our second, 650sq/ft unit directly opposite us on our trade estate.

2014

Financial Milestone

We hit a financial milestone and reached £1.1m sales turnover, with staffing of only 3 people. Our Logic Case range continued to gain increased market presence and we introduced our first server configurator online, allowing customers to build their own servers with ease. We took on Mark Lambert as our sales manager.

2015

Continued Growth

During 2015 we continued to grow our brands, our market presence and our customer base. We also achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification, demonstrating our commitment to customer service, which allowed us to work with some larger customers and give peace of mind to our entire customer base. We take on our third 650sq/ft facility on the same estate to allow for increased stock holding.

2016

The Next Generation

A lot happened for us in 2016. We moved to our new 7500sq/ft purpose built facility on the outskirts of Burton on Trent, we expanded our team and hit a new £1.7m sales turnover milestone.

Our new facility included a 2500sq/ft air conditioned build facility, specifically designed for the safe and efficient assembly of server systems - a part of the company that was rapidly growing.

2017

In-Win Partnership

Early 2017 we partnered with In-Win as their UK distributor and system integrator. We also firmed up our relationships with other key vendors.

We grew with more staff, including taking on our first dedicated technical manager, Andrew McLean. Custom built servers continued to be a major growth area for the business and we win several large system contracts.

2018

OEM

Our market presence for OEM continues and we win some major contracts for the supply of custom made chassis. Server solutions continues to grow, with our new Server Store website taking hold online. The launch of our professional workstation brand, Velocity WS is planned for 4th quarter of 2018. Our financial position increases with a £2.6m sales turnover.

2019

ASUS Partnership

We continued the growth of our custom server manufacturing, introduced new ranges of Logic Case chassis and expanded our In-Win stock holding. We also continued our ASUS partnership to become one of largest system integrators in the UK. Our financial position increases by 5% in turnover to £2.7m.

2020

Pandemic Success

We started 2020 with excellent growth.

Whilst this was paused in the first half of the year due to the COVID-19 pandemic we saw steady sales through our distribution and custom server assembly divisions. Our website sales increased significantly. Our financial position increases by 8.5% in turnover to £3.18m.

2021

Rebrand to The Server Group

A long time in discussion - We changed the legal name of the company to The Server Group Ltd and split off our various divisions - renaming Server Case UK to simply Server Case. Throughout this process we went through a whole rebrand of our logos to unify our company structure. We also introduce a brand new website for Server Store, as well as a group site.

2023

Continued Growth

We continue to grow, with an increased turnover to £4.2m for 22/23 trading period. Our component sales continue to grow and we have grown our strategic customer and supplier partnerships. We also offer trade pricing on our website for customers to buy direct. Our stock holding of ASUS increases significantly, with healthy stocks of all motherboards and barebones.

2024

New Products

An excellent start to the year. We've taken on new employees and expanding our Logic Case range with a whole portfolio of new generation models. Our sales of NVIDIA and ASUS products and solutions continue to grow. We are all looking forward to continued growth throughout the coming year.
